Then we treat the small muscles associated with the fixed joints.
When a joint is immobilised, the associated muscle passively adapts
to the new position and, since it now has nothing to do, it slowly
weakens through lack of exercise. We wake up these dormant
'posture' muscles with the same handset by tapping the reflexes.
The power provided by the compressed air allows us to do this
quickly and effectively. We refer to this as 'reflex'.
Finally, these muscles need to be strengthened. We prescribe a
simple routine of strengthening exercises - we call them 'walk tall'
exercises - to help you achieve this. We have a brochure that
describes these simple exercises.
